Double Time Grooves With The Left Foot Counting Crotchets

In this lessong you will be adding in a quarter note count on the left foot when playing double time. This idea has been applied in many other styles of groove so hopefully this concept will at least be familar to you. Because of the faster feel of the part, eighth notes will generally be more appropriate to keep time but as tempos get higher, crotchest become a bit more useful. The relationship between the two feet is a little more difficult in these grooves, pay close attention to your timing and note placement as it is very easy to let it slip.
