Double Time Grooves With The Left Foot Counting Quavers

In this lessong you will be adding in an eighth note count on the left foot when playing double time. This idea has been applied in many other styles of groove so hopefully this won't be too difficult. In all examples on this page the left foot will line up exactly with the right hand but there are several points where a kick is falling between the left feet. Pay close attention to your timing here as it is very easy to let it slip.

At the bottom of the page you will find a list of lessons you may find useful when learning this part.
