'A A A B' Switching Between 3/4 And 4/4

This lesson will follow an 'A A A B' structure only this time you will switch the time signature of the 'A' section to 3/4 and the 'B' to 4/4. This means the last bar of fill is a beat longer than the rest of the phrase. The aim here is to further improve your ability to move through different time signatures.

The structure for this exercise will look like this:

A four bar phrase using 3/4 and 4/4.

Written below are five examples of parts you could play for this structured pattern. In all examples the 'B' is a Groove In 4/4.
