Half Bar Eighth Note Snare And Crash Fills In 6/8

In this lesson you will be building half bar fills in the time signature of 6/8 by playing snares and crashes together in various eighth note rhythms. These runs of snare and crashes will sometimes be broken up by bass drums to create some interesting sounding parts. At the bottom of the page you will find links to some useful lessons, if at any point you find yourself struggling with the parts have a look through some of these. A similar lesson on full bar versions of these fills is included in these links.

For each example I have filled the first half of the bar with groove, feel free to play something different if the mood takes you. Use all given parts as a starting point to create your own versions of these fills.
