Swiss Army Triplet Moving In Blocks Of Two

In this lesson you will be learning an orchestration for the swiss army triplet that involves changing voice in an odd place, creating a syncopated pattern. In a triplet you would expect phrasing to be in 3's or 6's, however in these exercises you will be moving in twos. At the bottom of the page you will find links to some lessons that may assist the learning process and similar movements have been applied to other triplet rudiments. This odd movement combined with the sticking for this rudiment creates some quite tough patterns.

Listed below are six versions of the rudiment with this orchestration applied. Feet have been included in all patterns but it would be worth taking them out while you get your head around the hand movements.
