The Standard Triplet With Quarter Note Feet

In this lesson you will be adding crotchet feet patterns underneath the standard triplet. The hands will all be played as eighth note triplets so the feet will fall inline with the hand playing the single stroke.

The feet patterns in this lesson will be the same as those given in similar lessons for different rudiments. They are important to practice though as the co ordination and independence between limbs will be slightly different with each rudiment. Remember to use a metronome as much as possible and to work on the timing slowly before pushing the tempo to higher speeds.

Standard and reverse sticking has been shown for each exercise, working on both versions is very important.
