As discussed in a previous lesson, crashes have many uses. In this lesson you will be looking at using them to accent select beats in a bar of 6/8 and to further emphasize the accent these will be played with a snare. Five different placements are explored in the examples below and very basic kick and snare rhythms are used. Once you are comfortable with the crash placement experiment with making the kick and snare part more interesting.
