'AAAB' In 3/4 With A Syncopated '3333' Right Hand

In this lesson you will be shown five simple 'AAAB' patterns in 3/4, all of which use a syncopated '3333' rhythm on the right hand. The point of these exercises is to both improve your ability to apply this concept practically whilst showing you some new patterns. At the bottom of the page you will find some useful links that will help the learning process.

There won't be much new in terms of part construction, this page will be all about maintaining that right hand rhythm over various different groove construction methods and around fills. Use all given examples as a starting point to create your own versions of the part.
