Syncopated RLRF Fills In 7/8

In this 7/8 fill construction lesson you will be applying the RLRF fill building block used previously in 4/4. These won't fit as nicely into the bar as the exercises linked but this causes them to sound interesting. Through a bar of 7/8 you will be able to play the pattern three times in full and you will then have two 16th notes left over which you have many options for.

If you have covered the lesson linked above these patterns shouldn't be too challenging, you just need to get your head around the new timing. Listed below are several versions of this pattern orchestrated in various ways with several different ideas for what to play on those last two notes. The first couple of exercises are kept nice and simple to familiarize you with the part. We have a similar lesson for applying this concept to the Time Signature Of 5/8 also.
