In this five page level 3 groove construction lesson you will learn a two bar groove in 6/8 where right handswitches from straight eighths to a dotted eighth. A kick and snare part is then built using imitation, simple sixteenth movements and tom decoration. This is built up over several steps, starting with a heavily simplified version of the part, which allows you to focus on one element of the part at a time.
