6/8 Double Paradiddle Fills Using Simple Orchestrations

For these double paradiddle fills you will just be applying some simple orchestrations to the straight rudiment as sixteenth notes in the time signature of 6/8. In all exercises on this page you will be presented with an 'AAAB' style pattern where 'B' is a double paradiddle fill using one of these orchestrations of the rudiment. At the bottom of the page you will find a collection of links to other lessons you may find useful when learning these parts.

For each given part, make sure you can play the fill before you do anything. Take it slow if necessary and remember that the accuracy of your part is far more important than tempo. When playing the full four bars make sure there are no gaps between the groove and fill.
