In this lesson you will be learning some fills in 6/8 that all end with the 'RLLF' pattern. The first four beats of the fill will be built from various different construction methods and various orchestrations of the RLLF will show up to finish off. The last note of the bar in all cases will be a sixteenth note bass drum so that will usually mean a quick two bass drum movement between the end of the fill and the start of the next bar.
Previous versions of this movement in 6/8 have been heavily syncopated. This isn't really the case in this concept as the movement is only used once. If you are unfamiliar with either the sticking pattern mentioned or it's application in 6/8 some useful lessons can be found at the bottom of the page.
