Offbeat 8th Ride Bell Grooves With Crashes

When adding a crash at the start of the bar the rhythm of the right hand will changed slightly. You will end up with the pattern shown below when only offbeat eighths are played:

When constant eighth notes are used the rhythm will stay the same, like this:

TASKS

  1. Learn the groove above at a tempo of at least 120bpm.
  2. Create further grooves using this concept.
  3. Apply this idea as the start of a phrased pattern.
