The Single Stroke 4 With Quarter Note Feet

Some exercises where simple quarter note feet patterns have been added under a single stroke 4.

This lessons follows on from our Single Stroke 4 Sticking lesson. It will be much easier to follow if you are familiar with the content from that lesson. The feet patterns used in this lesson will be similar to those used in other rudiments.

All exercises in this lesson will involve playing a quarter note foot pattern underneath both versions of the single stroke 4. It is hugely important that these notes are played exactly at the same time so I strongly recommend you work through the lessons in this Hand to Foot Syncronization Exercise. Practice all exercises with both standard, reversed and alternate sticking.
