Reverse Triplet With Right Hand Accents

In this lesson you will be learning some simple accent placement in the reverse triplet where only the double stroke right hand in each block is accented. Remember when accenting to make the note with the '>' symbol above it louder than the restl. You can achieve this by lifting your stick slightly higher than normal and pushing down with it a little more force followed by your usual stick height.

Various different combinations of this movement have been given below. Remember to use the reverse triplet 'R R L' sticking throughout.

  2. Experiemnt with further combinations of quarter note accents.
