Triple Stroke Roll With The Left Hand Planted On The Snare

In this triple stroke roll orchestration concept you will plant the left hand on the snare whilst the right moves around various other parts of the kit. The idea has been applied in other rudiments and you can find links to these and other useful lessons at the bottom of the page. Remember, you hands will always be playing a triple stroke roll in all exercises on this page. I have included feet, it may be worth removing them whilst you are learning the orchestration then adding them back in later. Experiment with using different feet patterns from our previous lessons.
