Triplet Tom And Hi Hat Fills Using A Snare Snare Kick Movement

In this fill construction lesson you will be learning patterns that combine toms and hi hats. The two voices have very different tonal qualities and when combined have a nice full sound. The examples on this page all follow an eighth note triplet rhythm where two flat flams are followed by a kick. It is important the flat flams are played exactly in time, there are lessons at the bottom of the page that will help with this.
