In this lesson you will be taking the sixteenth note alternate rhythm for the single stroke four and applying standard quarter note feet underneath it. In each example you will find a version with a quaver gap between each block on the left and a semi quaver gap on the right. While learning each part make sure all note placements are accurate.
- Using the 2 minute rule, get the exercises up to a tempo of at least 135bpm with good hand technique.
- Use all three sticking patterns with each exercise.
- Create your own feet patterns for the exercises.
- Play all 6 exercises as a continuous 6 bar pattern, then repeat.
