In this lesson you will learn some simple accent patterns with a double stroke roll. These will all fall on numbered counts and when played in standard sticking, will all be played on the right hand. The difficult part of these patterns is only accenting the first note of the double stroke, focus here on getting that 'high then low' movement in the sticking.
At the bottom of the page you will find a collection of links to lessons that will be helpful when learning these parts. Start each patttern slowly and gradually building up tempo as you get more comfortable with the movements involved.
