Sticking For The Double Stroke Triplet In 6/8

In this lesson you will be taking the double stroke triplet and applying it within the context of 6/8. Like with other rudiments applied in a new time signature, this sticking doesn't always fit comfortably in one bar of the time signature. Note that when played as eighth notes and sixteenth triplets, the sticking takes two bars to resolve back on itself. The exercises on this page should be fairly straight forward if you are familiar with the original rudiment (linked below), the focus on your practice here should be getting comfortable with the sticking in the new time signature. When orchestrations and feet start being applied, the feel of the time signature will become much more prominent.

Below I have shown the rudiment as eighth notes, sixteenth notes and sixteenth triplets in both standard and reverse sticking.
