Sticking For The Triple Paradiddle In 6/8

In this lesson you will be applying the triple paradiddle sticking to the time signature of 6/8. The original rudiment is a sixteen note pattern, which doesn't fit nicely within the 6 or 12 note blocks. This means the sticking needs to repeat three times for it to fall back in line with the start of a bar. When playing eighth notes that takes eight bars and for sixteenth notes four bars. At the bottom of the page you will find a collection of links you may find useful when learning these parts.

Listed below are two versions of the paradiddle diddle applied to the time signature of 6/8, the first as eighth notes the second as sixteenths.
