In this lesson you will be shown five simple 'AABC' patterns in 4/4, all of which use the fake double kick groove construction concept. The point of these exercises is to both improve your hand to foot co ordination and to give you some ideas for applying these parts practically. At the bottom of the page you will find some useful links that will help the learning process.
There won't really be anything new in terms of part construction, this page will be all about maintaining that constant sixteenth note while various other things are happening over the hands. Use all given examples as a starting point to create your own versions of the part.
