Accenting Dotted Crotchet Ride Bells In 12/8

In this groove lesson you will be using the bell of the ride to accent the dotted crotchet counts in 12/8. This will give the part a strong '1 2 3 4' feel but the different dynamic layers will make the part a little more interesting. Similar ideas have been covered in previous lessons and links to these can be found at the bottom of the page. Mechanically, these parts just require you to move the right hand at set points in the bar so aren't too much different from some level 0 patterns. However, when the kick and snare parts get more complicated, this extra movement can drastically increase the co ordination required.
