The Double Stroke Roll With A Moving Left Hand And Planted Right Hand

In this lesson you will be learning a rudiment that involves 'planting' the right hand on one drum while the left moves around the kit and in this case the right hand is going to play on the floor tom. With the right hand in this position the left is free to hit most parts of the kit and some interesting movements can be created in this concept. The exercises is great for hand speed and stamina and it makes a good start for fill construction.

Feet have been included all exercises but feel free to remove them while you get comfortable with the hand part. At the bottom fo the page you will find a set of links to other lessons that may be helpful in the learning process.
