Sticking For The Triple Paradiddle

The triple paradiddle is a development of the Standard Paradiddle which throws in four extra sets of single stroke before the double. This makes the phrasing of the rudiment slightly longer as it is played over eight sixteenth notes rather than just four. The speed will be exactly the same as the standard paradiddle so the main thing you will need to focus on is not slipping back into the standard paradiddle.

Note that the Triple Paradiddle can also be referred to as a 'Para Para Para Diddle'. Its sticking is six singles followed by a double then the same but reversed, so 'R L R L R L R R L R L R L R L L'. Shown below is the rudiment as both eighth notes and full sixteenth notes. For each rhythm both standard and reverse sticking are given, practice both stickings with a metronome and start slowly while you are familiarizing yourself with the sticking.
