In this lesson you will be revisiting Double Time Grooves and switching them over to the time signature of 5/4. These grooves won't be too challenging until you hit the higher tempos but it would be beneficial to read the previous lesson linked above as well as our Level 2 Foot Speed lesson. All you are really doing here is taking previous double time grooves and extending them by one quarter note.

TASKS
- Using the 2 minute rule, get all grooves up to a tempo of at least 130bpm.
- Create your own variations on these patterns. Write as many down as possible.
- Use these patterns as part of a longer phrase.
- Experiment with flicking between 5/4 and 4/4 in double time.
