Offbeat 16ths In Half Time - Groove 1

Constructing half time grooves with offbeat 16th notes.

In this lesson you will be placing offbeat 16th notes on the kick or snare within a half time groove. On each page you will be building up patterns that start simple and get more complex. In each of the first four patterns an additional kick or snare is added. In the final pattern the groove is embellished in some other way. For examples, an extra 16th note may be added in the right hand or an open hi hat may be put in.
