'AAAB' Patterns Based On A 4/4 Linear RLLF Groove

A simple four bar pattern where all grooves are built around a linear part.

In this lesson you will be shown five simple 'AAAB' patterns in 4/4, all of which are based around a linear RLLF pattern. The point of these exercises is to both improve your ability to play this style of groove and to give you some ideas for applying these parts practically. At the bottom of the page you will find some useful links that will help the learning process.
