New Site Area - Resources

When the site was relaunched two years ago I stated that one of the biggest reasons for change was to allow us to add more than just sheet music to the site. I have kept very quiet about what I have been working on in the background in case things didn't work out but I am very pleased to be releasing the first of these new areas.

If you are logged in you will be seeing a new item in the navigation menu called 'Resources'. What you will find here is a collection of 100% free drum lessons. The reason I have decided to add this is in response to all the questions I receive about my sheet music over email. Rather than answering the same questions over and over I figured the information may as well go up on the site. Once I'd got started adding a few pages I realised it may be beneficial to add extra information which I then, as usual, got a bit carried away with resulting in what you can now see.

We currently have a large amount of text and image based lessons covering the absolute basics of notation and general drumming. Over time we will be adding a huge amount of content to this including new lessons and audio/video to support what is already up. Lessons are organised by difficulty level and you will be seeing 'general' and 'level 1' lessons. 'General' covers all general notation and basic information about drumming. 'Level 1' is lessons to get you playing difficulty level 1 songs and this section is split into Rudiments, Grooves, Fills and Theory.

As this section is new we would very much appreciate any feed back you have. Does the layout work? Do the lessons make sense? Are there other lessons you'd like to see? Drop us an email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or post on our social media pages if you have any comments. You're feedback is absolutely vital, many changes have been made to the site based on user input and this area in particular would benefit from your comments.

Thank you all for your continued support of the site, without you this new area and the many other new things that are in the works would not be able to happen.
