The Reverse Triplet With Moving Doubles

This lessons follows on from our Reverse Triplet With Each Hand On A Different Drum orchestration lesson, it will be much easier to follow if you are familiar with the content from that lesson.

In this triplet orchestration concept the double strokes of the rudiment will move around the kit whilst the singles stay planted on the snare. This is a great fill construction method that I will provide a lesson for at a later stage. The parts should be fairly straight forward but will be demanding on your right hand strength, don't be afraid to start each pattern slowly and build up tempo as you get more comfortable with them.

Remember, you hands will always be playing a reverse triplet in all exercises of this lesson. I have included feet in all exercises, it may be worth removing them whilst you are learning the orchestration then adding them back in later. Experiment with using different feet patterns from our previous lessons.
